Exciting Changes Are Underway

If you’ve visited recently, you’ve probably noticed continued activity across the museum as we work to make TMA more welcoming, accessible, and inspiring.

Beginning April 20, 2026, additional galleries in the East Wing of the Green Building will temporarily close for renovation. This includes the Classic Court, Wolfe Gallery, and Galleries 1, 4, 6, 7, 35, and the TMA Store in Gallery 3. On the Ground Level, the Green Room, Community Gallery, and Little Theater will also close. These changes allow construction to move forward on an accessible ground‑level North entrance, new exhibition spaces, improved amenities, and other visitor‑centered enhancements.

During construction, the Glass Pavilion, Family Center, Education Wing, TMA Café, Sculpture Garden, and Library remain open, as do several Green Building galleries including Galleries 15, 16, 18 (featuring Beeple Studios: TRANSIENT BLOOM), and Gallery 19. Restrooms, elevators, and visitor entrances also remain open.

We encourage visitors to enjoy the Glass Pavilion and its programs, explore the Sculpture Garden, participate in classes, and take advantage of the many spaces still open while renovation continues.
