Our founders had the ambitious dream of free art for all. This vision has been a reality for over a century through the time and resources of many dedicated people. Thank you for your support in carrying on this tradition. Nearly 80 percent of our yearly funding is made possible by past and present donations and memberships. This is the lifeblood of The Toledo Museum. From the smallest to the largest gifts, you help us maintain and grow our collection and programs, open to everyone in our community without charge.

Conserving the art on display is an important part of what we do at the Museum. We created the “Adopt an Artwork” program so that you can participate in the restoration process. When you choose an artwork that needs special help, you’ll know that your donation directly funds the research, science and fine hands skills needed to preserve this work of art.
