Affinity Groups

Affinity groups give members the opportunity to deepen their commitment to TMA while also developing social connection with kindred spirits. Each affinity group has its own unique mission and additional membership requirements above and beyond typical TMA membership.

  • Georgia Welles Apollo Society

    Founded in 1986 by Georgia and David Welles, The Georgia Welles Apollo Society has purchased more than 70 of works of art for the Museum over the past 37 years.

    The Toledo Museum of Art Ambassadors, established in 1957 as the Aides, is an ancillary group with a rich history of service to the Toledo Museum of Art and its Director.

  • Toledo Museum Archives and Library League

    The Museum Library League was founded in 1984 to support the Toledo Museum of Art Library and Archives through fundraising, outreach, and programming. In 2024, it was rebranded as the Toledo Museum Archives and Library League (TMALL), reflecting its commitment to a unified entity.
