Brian Chambers is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer at Owens Corning, a world leader in insulation, roofing, and fiberglass composites. Mr. Chambers was elected Chairman in 2020 and appointed CEO in 2019.
Mr. Chambers was named President and Chief Operating Officer in 2018. For five years prior to that, he served as President of the Roofing business. From 2011 to 2013, he served as a Vice President and General Manager in the Composites business. Upon joining Owens Corning in 2000 until 2007, Mr. Chambers held several management roles within the Roofing business.
In 2007, Mr. Chambers joined Saint-Gobain with the divestiture of Owens Corning’s siding business to the company. He served as President of Saint-Gobain’s distribution business in North America until returning to Owens Corning in 2011.
Prior to joining Owens Corning, Mr. Chambers held commercial and operational roles with Honeywell, BOC Gases, and an international engineering firm.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in management from Northwestern University.
Mr. Chambers is a member of the Business Roundtable, the Ohio Business Roundtable, and the Policy Advisory Board of the Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Toledo Museum of Art and ConnecToledo.
