Driving

The main parking lot is located off Monroe Street, behind the Green Building.
Parking is $10 (free for members).

Bus

TARTA bus routes 2, 22, and 26 stop near TMA.

Biking

Bike racks are available near the Green Building and the Glass Pavilion.

Museum Map

The Toledo Museum of Art displays artworks throughout galleries in the Green Building, the Glass Pavilion, and the Sculpture Garden. TMA offers many other amenities for our visitors: Café, Store, Library, Family Center, Little Theater, Glass Studio, and Art Classes. Please view our museum map for more information.

Tours

We offer self-guided group tours as well as Docent-led group tour. We ask that all tour groups planning to visit the museum submit a request form so we can best prepare for your arrival.

Active Military Discounts

The Blue Star Museums Program offers free exhibition tickets for active military members. This year the program runs from Saturday, August 17, 2024 through Monday, September 2, 2024. Please see program details below.

  • Military ID holder and up to five family members can receive free exhibition tickets.

  • The military ID holder can be either an active-duty service member or other dependent family member with the appropriate ID card. The active-duty member does not have to be present for family members to use the program. Just bring your DD Form 1173 ID Card, or DD Form 1173-1 ID Card, for active duty military family members.

  • Qualifying military personnel include those currently serving in the:

    • United States Military–Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force

    • Coast Guard–including Reservists

    • National Guardsman (regardless of status)

    • U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps

    • NOAA Commissioned Corps

Please note that military veterans do not qualify for this program. But we do offer year-round free parking for all military veterans.

View Glassblowing Demonstrations

Every day at 2pm in the Glass Pavilion we offer free demonstrations of the fine art of glassblowing. Get an up close view of this ancient process and enjoy learning from our fun and engaging team of glass artists.

In the Family Center young children and their grown-ups can create a unique work of art inspired by the art and artists in TMA’s collections and special exhibitions. It’s a family-friendly space, stocked with all the supplies you need.

The TMA Library & Archives welcomes all curious visitors, researchers, art enthusiasts, and students. Reflecting the Museum’s purpose of art education, the library collections focus on the Museum's works of art, exhibitions and history. In addition to serving Museum staff and members, the library serves both the public and the University of Toledo Art Department.
