A Toledo native, Betsy Brady made history at TMA by serving as the first female Chair of the Board of Directors. She has been on the board since 2002, and was Chair for four years, from 2008 to 2011. Professionally, Mrs. Brady was Vice President of Finance, Administration, Human Resources, and Corporate Affairs at Plastic Technologies, Inc. (PTI) for 35 years. PTI, founded in 1986, is a leading supplier of innovative PET technology, specialty manufacturing services, and integrated packaging solutions in the plastic container industry. 

In addition to being a past Chair of the Toledo Museum of Art board, Brady has also been Board Chair of the Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce, Toledo Community Foundation, the Corporation for Effective Government, the Junior League of Toledo, and the former Health, Education and Research Corporation of ProMedica Health System. She is currently actively engaged with Toledo Public Schools, Toledo Area Metroparks, the University of Toledo, Toledo School for the Arts, and a number of other local organizations.  She and husband Tom have three grown children and 12 grandchildren.
