LoVid is a New York–based interdisciplinary artist duo working collaboratively since 2001. Their work comprises immersive installations, sculptural synthesizers, single-channel videos, textiles, participatory projects, mobile media cinema, works on paper, and audiovisual performances. LoVid’s work has been exhibited internationally at venues including the Buffalo AKG Museum, the Museum of the Moving Image, the Grand Rapids Art Museum, Art Blocks Curated, Postmasters Gallery, Honor Fraser Gallery, Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery, Anthology Film Archives, the Museum of Modern Art, ISSUE Project Room, Science Gallery Dublin, the Jewish Museum, Daejeon Museum of Art, Smack Mellon, the Butler Institute of American Art, and the New Museum. Their videos are distributed by Electronic Arts Intermix (EAI), and their work is included in private and public collections including the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of the Moving Image, Le Random, the Parrish Art Museum, the Thoma Foundation, and the Heckscher Museum of Art.
