Susan Denny, a lifelong Ohioan, moved to Toledo in her twenties and stayed. She has offered both time and talent to the community. She has been a teacher and a student. She’s worked in retail. She serves as TMA Ambassador President. In this role she works with others to sustain and advance the Ambassador program in service to The Toledo Museum of Art. She serves on The Library Legacy Foundation for the Toledo Lucas County Public Library. Her curious mind led her to the ongoing practice of poetry. Susan attended Kent State University. She added graduate studies at The Ohio State University. Her student teaching took her to the American International School in Vienna, Austria. She’s been told she’s an exquisite listener. Susan walks and reads. She draws and plays her cello. She enjoys travel and cooking. She and her husband raised their family in Toledo.
