The Toledo Museum of Art (TMA) is excited to announce open registration for its summer art class sessions, offering a dynamic range of classes designed to spark creativity in participants of all ages and skill levels. From painting and printmaking to glassblowing and digital illustration, TMA’s expert art instructors provide engaging, hands-on opportunities in a world-class setting.
Most summer classes begin June 9, but a few adult classes begin in May. Scholarships are available to help make art education accessible for everyone. For more information about scholarships and application deadlines, please visit toledomuseum.org/learn/scholarships.
“We’re thrilled to offer such a fun and diverse lineup of summer classes,” said Lauren Geib, studio programs manager. “Whether you’re trying something brand new or diving deeper into a favorite medium, these classes are a wonderful way to get creative, make connections, and learn something new alongside our talented art instructors.”
Highlights this summer include classes in fused glass, watercolor techniques, sculpture, and special youth workshops designed to inspire younger artists. Many classes draw direct inspiration from TMA’s collections and exhibitions, creating one-of-a-kind learning experiences that connect personal creativity with the art on view in the galleries.
In addition, summer camps run from June 9-Aug. 1, Monday-Friday, with a break for the week of the Fourth of July. Two sessions are offered–in the morning from 9 a.m.-noon and the afternoon from 1-4 p.m.
Most classes include all necessary supplies and are offered at a discounted rate for TMA members. To view the full schedule, class descriptions, registration information, and deadlines, visit toledomuseum.org/learn/classes-workshopsor call 419-255-8000.
