September 9, 2025

The Toledo Museum of Art (TMA) invites the community to celebrate the fall season at its Fifth Annual Glass Harvest, taking place Saturday, Sept. 28, and Sunday, Sept. 29, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Rita B. Kern Sensory Garden.

“Glass Harvest is such a meaningful tradition for TMA and our community,” said Heather Blankenship, Retail Operations Manager, TMA. “Each year, visitors look forward to exploring the garden, finding that special pumpkin, and celebrating the creativity that makes this event so distinctive.”

This family-friendly tradition features more than 400 handblown glass pumpkins in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors, all created by TMA’s talented glass studio artists in the Glass Pavilion. Admission is free. Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are always welcome.

New this year, guests can enter raffles for a chance to win memorable glass experiences, including:

  • Introduction to Glassblowing Class for one person, $625 value: A hands-on introduction to the art of glassblowing, open to ages 14+.

  • Private Glass Art Workshop for up to eight guests, $360 value: A group workshop led by a TMA glass studio artist in the Glass Pavilion Hot Shop, where participants create their own glass objects.

  • Private Glassblowing Demonstration for up to 50 guests, $350 value: A live glassmaking experience in the Glass Pavilion Hot Shop, featuring the creation of an original work of art.

Raffle tickets are $10 each and available online at store.toledomuseum.org or onsite during Glass Harvest. The winning tickets will be drawn on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 4:50 p.m. Proceeds benefit TMA’s glass studio operations and classes, fostering creativity and learning for all ages.

Each pumpkin purchase at the Glass Harvest includes a free gift, while supplies last.
